Holy chapels

The sacred chapels of Brittany are often built on sites considered sacred since pre-Christian times, such as places of Druidic worship or megalithic sites. According to some traditions, these places are located on energy lines, called "ley lines," which connect sacred sites across the landscape. These lines are seen as channels of earth energy, influencing the spiritual and physical well-being of the individuals who visit them. The chapels themselves are often aligned according to precise geometric and astronomical principles, aimed at maximizing their harmony with natural forces. For example, the altar's orientation toward the east symbolizes the reception of divine light, while the arrangement of the windows may be aligned with the solstices or equinoxes, marking cosmic cycles.
